Tony Romo was injured, so Dak Prescott has been the quarterback so far for the 2016 season. Last year, the Cowboys were last in the NFC East standings. This year Prescott has carried the team, and they are now ranked #1, with 11 wins and 2 losses (both to the Giants). Prescott has played like a true rookie in his past two games with the Viking and Giants. Fans are turning their backs on the person who sparked something in this team. Quarterbacks tend to get too much credit and too much blame. The Giants are a great team and their defense is constantly improving, and now they have their eyes set on Prescott and Elliott. After the game on Sunday fans were calling for the team to bench Prescott and put Tony Romo in. That is honestly the dumbest idea I have ever heard. Tony is never going to be back to 100%.

“No, no, no, no,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said, asked if they considered benching Prescott for Romo. “Not at all.”

These Cowboys fans are so flippy-floppy. When they win, they are excited die hard Prescott fans, but when they lose they are quick to turn their backs on him. Prescott is the only shot they have at keeping their #1 spot. Let’s not forget that Romo only had 5 touchdowns last year because of injuries, and he has been sitting out all season. So would you rather have a 36 year old QB who had a rough season last year, is prone to injury, and has been sitting out this entire season OR a 23 year old, red hot QB who only lost 2 games, won 11, helped team be ranked #1, and is a strong candidate for Rookie of the Year?..

But that is just my opinion.
